Tobacco pouch
A deer hide leather tobacco pouch with block printed design and pull cord. Attached is a beautifully worked chain in silver and gilt metal links and solid gold ends known as a Hanagusari charm. Attached to the chain is a small mixed metal charm in the form of a Buriburi worked in fine wire inlay of clouds, plants and patterns in gold, silver and pickled bronze. A Burivuri is a traditional Japanese child's toy usually given in the new year.
